Covid was a time of change and re evaluating our processes and how we approach work, mine was how I approached by Set Design work. My client Stefan Roach requested a design that can easily be mounted onto a wall and taking down. I created these 10' by 8' three dimensional Art installation backdrops in keeping with his needs and wants.
The first scenic design which I called “Casa de Los Gitanos” after Stefan’s band name “Los Gitano’s” depicts Stefan, playing in a café in one of our prized architectural treasures in Woodbrook Port of Spain. This design was inspired by such.
“Barco de Los Gitanos” 3D Art Installation

The second design named "Barco de Low Gitanos" was created with our Caribbean landscape in mind on Maracus beach in the fishing village to be specific.
“Plaza de Los Gitanos” 3D Art Installation
INFO: "Plaza de Los Gitanos"
The third design was inspired by a Spanish courtyard but still compromising of Trinidadian colonial influences seen in the Architecture. Stefan performs at many different restaurants locally and I wanted to captivate the essence of a Spanish Court Yard restaurant setting in the night time hence my reference to wine and cheese.
