— Since
March 2018
Daniella holds a BFA in the Performing Arts in Theater Design and Production with the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT). She majored in Set Design and Costume Design. Her main focus since 2018 has been developing her business through the love of design. Her portfolio includes Set Designer and Scenery Build Supervisor for “Glorious" production at The Queen Hall on November 28th and 29th 2020. Among others see below.
Daniella has created and managed Set Designs for various music festivals and plays in Trinidad and Tobago.
Her process begins with a design consultation with her client to identify their desired needs for the production. She then moves into a research phase to create the sketch using AutoCAD and Sketchup to generate the design. Once the design is approved she works on producing the physical elements of the set. She also works on three dimensional to scale models if the client requests. She either rents the required materials or works with her set construction workers to build the design. Her team consists of builders and truck drivers. She manages her projects from "page to stage". Once the build process is complete her team loads the scenic elements into the space.
Her clients include those in the fields of: Theater, events, television, productions, photographers and event planners.
She caters for micro events to large scale events.
